American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons

The American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons is a professional organization whose members specialize in procedures to reconstruct or improve the shape and appearance of the body. Examples of reconstructive procedures include those to repair birth defects, treat burn scars, or rebuild breasts removed due to cancer. Cosmetic procedures include facelifts, liposuction, and surgery to reshape the nose.

Detroit Medical Centers

The largest health care provider in southeast Michigan, the Detroit Medical Center operates seven hospital (Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Detroit Receiving, Harper, Huron Valley-Sinai, Hutzel, the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan and Sinai-Grace Hospital), two nursing centers and more than 100 outpatient facilities throughout southeast Michigan and is affiliated with the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
